    The problem with crickets & grubs as nutrition is that they are not an indigenous protein source for a canid. We, as a culture, are already in the process of turning our beloved 4-leggeds into fermentationists (which they are not). Do we wish to mess em up further?? Bugs certainly are an occasional delicacy...but...let's look at left where the controversial grains, legumes & starches populate the formulations  like hoodlums who, when merging with novel proteins such as crickets & grubs, make (potentially) for pure, unadultered silliness with toxic overtones & a woke-y mouthfeel. Mafia Gastronomia.

Why? The marketing platform of this product touts a humane bio-sustainable realm from which the living insects are harvested at "life's end"...who can say whether grubs & crickets have feelings? If I were a cricket, I would not desire a life lived en warehouse (see video)...I'd prefer it outside in a pastoral field of grain. What hubris! To determine that a warehoused cricket had a great life...but a warehoused chicken did not... 
 
Does not everything with atoms have a will? Where is the line? What is the line? And if one possesses a will...does anyone or anything have a right to quash the will? Uh no. That's why I purchase meat from beings who lived outside, in great swaths of pastures...who felt the sun, rain & snow atop their heads...& who were at the end of their productive lives. This is merely my line, my setting...it is not yours...nor do I wish to force my will upon ye...but...spirit is as much an ingredient as anything else...

I hate picking on peas, beet pulp, potatoes & brewers yeast...I really do....but...really? We know these ingredients are not cool for dogs...why are we still seeing them in ingredients lists?

Consider this: if you need a high protein, clean protein meat source for your beast, go for rabbit...not grubs or crickets...
