The palatability of this food & the background of the formulators of Farmina make it a gazillion times better than anything we have tried...the dogs are gaga over it...& so are we (yep..we eat everything that they try...except for Idahound raw green tripe!)...the only downside is that a 20-ish lb. bag of ND Ocean Herring is $110.00! However, we are only owned by a small pack of quadrupeds....so...whatever they desire, we desire... We procure our foodstuffs from Chewy! Thankfully, they offer the full Farmina line...Safir loves the canned squid/sea bass...Wiggi loves the dry herring...we love the gleaming coats, calm demeanor & superb condition of the dogs... We hope that Farmina does not open a USA-production plant...as it will all likely go to hell...right? But, for now...we revel. Did we mention a litter is expected? I sprinkle a TBS. of ground elk horn over the yummy breakfast that our bitches get at exactly 5:13 am...(don't ask me why they demand their food at this time...it's uncanny!)...as for Gobi Goat...well, we can certainly procure the hooves and horns of American livestock...but, the quality of free-range mountain goats? So much better...the Gobi desert has my vote...
![]() Yay...finally, after years of missing the mark...but wanting the prize...( cement-hard yak chews for my 4-leggers)...I won!!!!! Kathmandus knocks it out of the park with their big churpi's( what's a churpi...well...???? you needn't consult with an ornithologist) (it's tibetan cheese...baked hard in lime-water..."churpi")...shrink-wrapped, thoughtfully packed...I love having my investment protected! At 89.00 for a dozen they are not cheapi. Kathmandu sells their yummy bones in bulk packs of 12 for 89.00..., shrink wrapped (so, no mould)...in cool hologram paper (ok...yea...I admit it, I love hologram paper!). This is the first bone-a-fide time I've purchased yak milk bones tha I've been happy with...(too splintery/mouldy/small)...Of course, you can buy Kathmandus on Amazon...but...KathmanDON'T!!! Go to their site, pay a tad more & make your loot matter...directly! Think of it, 12 L/XL chews that will occupy Fifi & Bleu FOR HOURS while the wind & rain pelts your home! How long will a churpi chew last? 2 weeks? and then, you can soak the nubs overnight in water, afterwards microwaving them for 45 secs for a poofy cheese treat! I like these because in the summer, flies/stays ants & uncles don't even care about these rock-hard yummy gnaw-styx. OK...don't say I never did nuttin fur ya. I've posted before about Farmina, their glorious formulae (which are artful things of majesty)...& I'm happy to say that after trialing their stuff here...I'm in! All in! No, they dont sponsor me...I could not/would not be able to recommend something to you if I were being "helped". It's really just that Farmina is healthy & cool...where else can you get chicken & orange with spelt?
Or how bout their squid in a can? sea bass, cod, herring, squid, sweet potatoes, herring oil, shrimp, fructooligosaccharide, calcium carbonate, potassium chloride, chondroitin sulfate, glucosamine hydrochloride, vitamin A supplement, vitamin D3 supplement, vitamin E supplement, choline chloride, zinc methionine hydroxy analogue chelate, manganese methionine hydroxy analogue chelate, ferrous glycine complex, copper methionine hydroxy analogue chelate, selenium yeast, DL-methionine, taurine, L-Carnitine. Or...for those who really wanna kick it...get some snackage...a wheel of brie...a bottle of wine...& enjoy the show! We have Wednesday's live-stream...Thursday's live-stream...& Friday's too!David Crosby -- guitars/vocals; Laura Allan - autoharp/vocal; Jack Casady bass; David Freiberg - vocal; Jerry Garcia -- guitars, pedal steel guitar, vocal; Mickey Hart -- drums; Paul Kantner - vocal; Jorma Kaukonen - guitar; Bill Kreutzmann -- drums, tambourine; Phil Lesh -- bass/vocal; Joni Mitchell - vocals; Graham Nash -- guitar/ vocals; Gregg Rolie - piano; Michael Shrieve - drums; Grace Slick - vocal. |
AuthorHowl-O! I'm Julia Jensen- devoted student of dogs & religious sampler of cheesecake, wheat beer, huehuetenango coffee & almost any chocolate out there. I indulge these fancies & more, in the remote silence of the pacific NW. *PLEASE NOTE* The videos selected for bloghism could be construed as "disturbing" to those of certain bents, sensitivities, natures, mind-sets, etc.. I have a distinct interest in relaying footage of dogs doing what they have been doing for centuries....& in some cases, I also include dog show footage just as a matter of interest. If you do not like my selections, by all means, do not view them. Archives
