This well-made, double-stitched leather & brass collar from Gun Dog Supply is under $25.00...with a customised nameplate included! Woo! I recommend adding "Reward If Found" to your personalisation. That way, if someone can actually approach your wayward pal, the incentive to get him back to you actually exists. *Plastic buckled collars are dangerous. As the buckle WILL fail.*
Red Dingo dog tags WILL in fact, last a lifetime. This adornment should be affixed to every collar in your possession...& to leashes as well. Then, like a good scout, you're always prepared. $16.00 each-ish.
This super-duper Amish-made leather leash from Leerburg just gets better with age (like some people I know). The 2 leash-ends are for double collaring ONE DOG. One leash-end attaches to the choke-chain collar & the other leash-end attaches to the other collar you've affixed. Your pup will not be able to do the drop-the-haunch & pull-out-of-the-collar maneuver that they so enjoy. I have 2 of these. 2 leather & 2 Bio-thane.
As a former professional groomer of more than a decade. I happily sold this line from my storefront. Quadruped Multi-Purpose is the only shampoo for me. It does not have the poisons that other shampoop has. No evil twin sisters (Sodium Laurel & Sodium Laureth). Nope, the saponins in Quadruped come solely from Mojave Yucca. Now that's just yumma! Don't expect a lot of lather, as the yucca is a mild saponin.
Never, ever, ever put flea chemicals on your dog. Use Borax in-home & underfoot.
1200 denier dog blankets from Weatherbeeta & the Expedition Parka from Hurta are the only way to go. I've used their horse blankets & fly sheets forevahhhh. The quality is second to none. I choose bright colours so that when we are out strolling in the majestic verdance, we won't get blown away by a weekend hunter-gatherer trying out his new deer rifle. The high collar on these jackets is grrreat. An adult boy Anatolian wear a size 32.
Are you aware of the incredible hazards associated with laundry detergent & fabric sheets? Highly, highly toxic to dogs (& everyone else)! That's why I only use Zum. Laundry soap, not detergent.
